The Paddy Hopkirk Memorial Foundation Inc. is a registered IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in the State of California (Registration #6425178, EIN #33-1525896).
Our mission: to design, construct, and deliver a bronze monument of Paddy Hopkirk, MBE, and his 1964 Monte Carlo–winning Mini Cooper (33 EJB) to the British Motor Museum, UK.
• We are a public charity and file annual IRS Form 990 reports (available at GuideStar.org).
• 100% of donations support the project. Our Directors, Advisors, and Officers are all unpaid volunteers.

What if the funding goal is not reached?
If we fall short, an alternative artwork approved by Paddy’s family will still be created and installed at the Museum. Every donation contributes to the most fitting tribute possible.
What if donations exceed the goal?
Additional funds will be used to enhance the monument and its display, which may include:
• Custom pedestal and bronze donor plaque
• Advanced lighting and landscaping
• Multimedia displays
• Other improvements to the exhibit

📍 The Monument
Where will the monument be located?
At the main entrance of the British Motor Museum, Gaydon, Warwickshire, UK — also home to Paddy’s famous Mini Cooper “33 EJB”.
The bronze monument will depict Paddy and his Mini exactly as they appeared in the 1964 Monte Carlo Rally.
How long will the project take?
We expect approximately three years for fundraising, design, construction, transport, and installation.
Has Paddy Hopkirk’s family approved the project?
✅ Yes. Paddy’s family is directly involved in the design, location, and decision-making. His son Patrick Hopkirk serves as an Honorary Advisor.
Has the British Motor Museum approved the monument?
✅ Yes. The Museum is a strategic partner and will care for the monument in perpetuity.
